Orris
Approaching contemporary form as a reflection of other cultures, Orris is based on the carved stone forms of Devi’s in the Hindu culture.
Following the typical ‘S’ shape in the female figures, Orris is a reinterpretation of these carvings which arose from 6 months studying temple art in southern India.
A very, very liberal interpretation of these classical sculptures has been left in Orris.
