It was a typical summer day on the dock. The morning had arrived, and there were vague stirrings from the boats moored on the end of D Float. As I threw the hatch open, sunlight streamed into the Santosha and the smell of fresh-brewed coffee wafted over from Ocean Kind, the sailboat beside me.
Morning, Jock”, called Al as he spotted my head, unruly hair not yet tended, sticking up through the hatch. “Coffee?”
